Chaplaincy

Volunteer Chaplaincy Ministries (Level 1 & 2)

A two-level programme preparing students for volunteer chaplaincy in hospitals, prisons, schools and community settings. Level 1 introduces the principles and ethics of chaplaincy, while Level 2 develops advanced skills in pastoral presence, crisis support and multi-faith awareness.

Health & Wellbeing

Health, Wellbeing and Compassionate Care

Equips ministers and church leaders to support the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of their congregations. Topics include mental health awareness, grief and loss, safeguarding, and building a culture of compassionate care within the local church.

Single Adult Ministry

Introduction to Single Adult Ministry (ISAM)

Addresses the specific pastoral needs and opportunities of ministry to single adults within the church. Students explore theological, social and practical dimensions of singleness, learning to create inclusive communities that value and support single adults in their faith journey.

Prayer & Counselling

PAC: Prayer, Altar and Counselling Ministry

Develops skills in prayer ministry, altar work and foundational pastoral counselling. Students learn to minister effectively at the altar, provide spiritual guidance and offer appropriate support to those seeking prayer and counsel within the life of the church.
