Leadership Training Centre
about ltc.
The Leadership Training Centre is the educational provision of the New Testament Church of God in England and Wales. For over four decades, we have been developing theologically grounded, practically equipped leaders for ministry within and beyond the local church.
A legacy of leadership development
The Leadership Training Centre was established by the New Testament Church of God to provide structured theological education and practical ministry training for pastors, ministers and church leaders. What began as a provision for denominational leaders has grown into a respected centre of learning that serves the wider Christian community.
Our approach combines academic rigour with practical application, drawing on the rich heritage of the Pentecostal tradition while engaging with contemporary theological scholarship and the realities of ministry in modern Britain.
Programmes and courses
We offer four structured programmes — CIMS, CAMS, MIP and CMDP — alongside individual courses in biblical, pastoral and doctrinal studies. Our provision spans foundational pastoral care training through to advanced theological study, with pathways designed for every stage of ministry formation.
Academic partnerships
The Leadership Training Centre works in partnership with established theological institutions and professional bodies to ensure the quality and recognition of our provision. These partnerships enable us to offer validated programmes and create pathways to further study, including a UK MDiv cohort rooted in the Pentecostal tradition.
What guides us
We are guided by the vision of the New Testament Church of God: Relevant, Relational, Reimagining — God at work in our communities and nation. Our values are rooted in the Statement of Faith, good stewardship, equality, justice and mercy, full access for all abilities, valuing contribution, and the safe nurturing of children and young people.
