Terms of Attendance
- Swearing or name calling is not acceptable.
- Music with explicit lyrics should not be played.
- All media must be approved by co-ordinator before communal viewing.
- Day wear to be worn to breakfast and public areas.
- Males and females may socialise openly in communal areas only; you are not allowed into bedrooms assigned to the opposite gender.
- Please observe curfew agreed for your safety and the care of other residents.
- No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or dangerous items such as pen knives should be on your person.
- It is a criminal offence to make, distribute, possess or show any indecent images of anyone aged under 18, even if the content was created with the consent of that young person.
- It is a criminal offence to disclose private sexual photographs and films without consent and with intent to cause harm.
- Rooms and communal areas should always be left clean and tidy.
- All academy attendees are expected to attend all worship sessions.
- All electrical equipment should be switched of when not in use.
- Attendees are expected to behave respectfully to everyone.
- Remain in sessions until they are brought to a complete end to prevent disruption to others.
FAQ
When will I know whether I have a space on Youth Academy?
Your local youth leader will need to approve your application. If successful, you will receive an email outlining next steps. This process shouldn’t take more than a week to complete.
When will payment be due, and how can I pay?
You will need to pay the full balance of £160 to your Local Youth Leader by 18th August 2024.
