Welcome to Single Adult Ministry
Serving the unmarried through teaching, consultation and small group forums
Our mission is to empower singles to live lives to the full and to be fully active within the church. Founded in 1996, SAM is one of the longest running singles ministries within the UK and we are constantly developing new and more effective ways to serve singles.
- To equip singles to tackle their challenges through biblical, practical teaching
- To provide support and advice to singles who desire to marry
- To equip leaders to be more effective in their ministry to single adults

Get equipped personally and for singles ministry leadership, through our courses Faith for a Mate and Introduction to Single Adult Ministry.
After 25 years of ministry to the unmarried, biblical, practical teaching remains the single greatest need. Thus since 2015, most of our ministry has been devoted to that.
Faith for a Mate course has helped change the narrative around the single biggest issue in singles ministry – finding a mate – by taking a biblical look at it from a female perspective. Delivered through animation, it’s unlike anything you’ve seen or heard before. So, what are you waiting for? Sign up today.
For those in leadership, our annually run Introduction to Single Adult Ministry course is perfect for you. Delivered through live online teaching sessions, distance learning using a textbook/study guide, plus online tutorials, it’s the gold standard training for singles ministry coordinators.
- To RECOGNISE the needs and the problems of widows
