One Mission One Vision Issue 19

Letecia McFarlaneNational, News

Welcome to the January 2022 edition of the One Mission One Vision Newsletter.

2021 has been a turbulent year, not just for us as a Church and community but for the whole human race and our world, yet there are many testimonies of some  wonderful things that the Lord has done during the year. We have these testimonies because of our faith in God. We must always remember that we are a people of faith with the unwavering belief that God will always come through for his children.

“And Jesus said unto them… if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.” (St Matthew 17:20 KJV)

During 2020-2021 we lost hundreds of our members and friends, some to Covid-19 and some to other causes. May our memories of each one of them be a source of joy and encouragement in our pilgrimage. Let us remember the bereaved families in our prayers and practical support.

Let us continue to walk by faith, in the knowledge that we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. “The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety“ (George Muller)

I would appreciate your prayers for the upcoming Administrative Bishop’s election for the period of 2022-2026, which is scheduled for Saturday 19th March 2022.

In this issue you will find information about upcoming events, Local church projects, the Let’s talk about preaching segment and much more…
