Men's Ministry
About LifeBuilders
Develop a brotherhood that impacts its environment and is responsive to the needs of its community.
Who We Are
A brotherhood built brick by brick
A man’s development starts before puberty. The formative years shape the man, which means the church cannot wait until a man is grown to begin investing in him. LifeBuilders recognises that development is a lifelong process — and that the men in our churches need more than a Sunday service. They need community.
The church is not a hotel where people come for occasional comfort. It is a dynamic group of people committed to one another, the community, and the Kingdom of God. LifeBuilders is the expression of that commitment for men — creating spaces for brotherhood at the gym, the library, the coffee shop, the pub, and even the prison. Wherever men are, LifeBuilders can be.
We build this LIFE brick by brick.
Our Framework
The LIFE Acronym
Everything LifeBuilders does is shaped by four commitments — a blueprint for developing men who reflect Christ in every area of their lives.
The spiritual health of the church depends on the spiritual health of its men. That means prioritising a genuine relationship with Jesus — not just activity or gifting. We support one another in love, commit to prayer and sound theology, and hold each other accountable.
This is not a passive life. It is a fight for justice, a commitment to forgive, and a willingness to defend those who cannot defend themselves.
- Bible study & theological grounding
- Prayer & accountability groups
- Worship events and retreats
- Support for men in crisis
The community around us is diverse — and sometimes seems at odds with the church. But Jesus showed us the importance of reaching beyond the church walls. LifeBuilders men are called to be a source of love and consistency in their communities.
We must reimagine our approach to ministry, striving for excellence and making a tangible impact. That may mean working with schools, community centres, or charities — meeting men where they are.
- Community outreach & partnerships
- Mentoring programmes
- Prison ministry & rehabilitation
- Sports & social events
Families are the foundation of communities — but they are often neglected in the pursuit of success. LifeBuilders men are intentional about their families: setting goals, modelling healthy relationships, and investing in building memories that last.
A man who leads his family well leads the church well.
- Marriage enrichment & support
- Father and child events
- Family days & community gatherings
- Support for struggling households
Investing in young men is vital for the legacy of any church. We must create opportunities for young men to minister, be prepared for them to make mistakes, and release them into the roles they were made for.
By moving young men from the crèche to the boardroom, we will see the revival we seek.
- Youth mentoring & discipleship
- Leadership development programmes
- Young men’s events & forums
- Inter-generational accountability
