Emerging Ministers Forum

Who is it for?
The Emerging Ministers’ Forum is for any Christian, aged 24-40 who are trying to find where they fit in church. The Forum is a space to discern your calling and ministry by bridging your qualifications, skills, and professional experience with your theology.
What to expect?
At National Convention we will be hosting a rich and transparent session on what it means to be whole in ministry. Have you experienced church hurt, are you void of coaching and mentoring that will enhance your growth, are you considering leaving church? If you identify with any of these areas, the session will be for you. There will be insights that will help you to navigate ministry while hurting and perspectives that will enable your healing.
Who is speaking/facilitating?
We are pleased that Bishop Eric Brown will be our guest. He’s a father in the faith and a veteran minister who has navigated numerous seasons of frustrations, and his wisdom and insights will be beneficial for the emerging minister. Expect authentic and honest dialogue.
Any key information you should know?
The cost of the session is included in your convention registration. Come meet and network with like-minded individuals who can sharpen you. Bring your mobile devices and get ready to exchange numbers or follow each other on socials. You will also learn of opportunities to join the emerging ministers’ community and to engage in theological study at a leading seminary. Bring a notebook and pen and be ready to join the dialogue. We will also remember our comrade Rev Phil Turner who was a member of the Emerging Minister’s Forum board.
